Join us Thanksgiving morning to take part in the 3rd annual Turkey Run on November 22, 2012. This annual 5k run / 1 mile walk will benefit the Shriners Hospitals for Children. This great holiday tradition is for individuals and families that focuses on having fun, giving back to the less fortunate and enjoying a healthy way to start their holiday season. The race starts and finishes at the Northland Arboretum. The course is on the Paul Bunyan trail and surrounding city streets. Prizes will be awarded to the top male, top female, and top child racers. Pre-register today to guarantee your Turkey Run t-shirt!
Costumes are always welcome-show your holiday spirit! There may be a few turkeys and pilgrims roaming around the race so don't forget your cameras! Great holiday photo opportunities!
Also, to raise additional funds for the Shriners Hospitals for Children, previous years beanies and t-shirts will be available race morning for $10.

Who Are We ?
Shriners Hospitals for Children® is a health care system of 22 hospitals dedicated to improving the lives of children by providing specialty pediatric care, innovative research and outstanding teaching programs. Children up to the age of 18 with orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries and cleft lip and palate are eligible for admission and receive all care in a family-centered environment regardless of the patients’ ability to pay.
What We Do ?
Children up to age 18 are eligible for care at Shriners Hospitals for Children®, if, in the opinion of our physicians, there is a reasonable possibility they can benefit from the specialized services available. Admission is based solely on a child's medical needs. A family's income or insurance status are not criteria for a child's acceptance as a patient. There is no charge for services provided within Shriners Hospitals for Children® facilities.
